CROCS WORLD: BUILD YOUR LIFE IN COLOR - OFFICIAL RULES & PRIVACY POLICY

These Official Rules (“Rules”) of the Crocs World: Build Your Life In Color contest (“Build Your Life In Color”) apply to each participant in the contest. These Rules apply only to official Build Your Life In Color play and not to other competitions, tournaments, or organized play of Minecraft.

These Rules are designed solely to ensure the integrity of the system established by Gen.G for play and create a positive atmosphere for the players. Standardized rules benefit all parties who are involved in the contest.

English is the primary language of these Rules. For any discrepancies in translation of these Rules, the English Rules supersede any translated versions. 

Gen.G is the administrator, sponsor and prize provider of the Build Your Life In Color competition. 

Crocs World: Build Your Life In Color Contest Format

• Description: Gen.G and Crocs are inviting fans from across the world to participate in a Minecraft Build Contest. The theme of the build competition, Build Your Life in Color, encourages players to build something (person, place, or thing) they feel connected to.
• In order to participate, between July 6th and 19th the Minecraft server will open up for building: play.crocsworld.gg. 
• Each contestant will be assigned a plot of land in the server where they can build.
• How to Join A Minecraft Server
• Gen.G Staff and influencers will serve as judges to determine the Build Your Life In Color winners.
• Gen.G Staff will be the final decision makers on all prizing winners
• Builds will be judged on:
• Creativity: How original was the concept
• Skill: How well was the build executed
• Color: How well your build incorporated colors

ELIGIBILITY  

• NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
• Build Your Life In Color (“Build Your Life In Color”) is open only to legal residents of Austria, Belgium, Canada (excluding Quebec), Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry.  Employees of Gen.G, participating vendors (if any), their respective parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries, and their respective participating advertising, promotions, and public relations agencies as well as members of their families and/or those living in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to enter.  
• Build Your Life In Color is 
• (a) governed by these Rules, 
• (b) void where prohibited or restricted by law, and 
• (c) subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  You must have access to the Internet and a valid email address in order to enter.  Eligibility is conditioned on the acceptance of these Rules at time of entry.
• Players must have a Minecraft account in good standing, and be eligible for online play in order to compete.
• The same account must be used for the duration of the competition.
• Players may not change their account name without permission from Gen.G during the competition.

PRIZING

Each region will have a grand prize winner and 5 secondary winners:

• 1st - Xbox Series X, a custom one-of-a-kind pack of Jibbitz™ shoe charms to be designed with the Crocs team and a collection of colorful Crocs! (Minimum 5 pairs)
• 2nd-6th - Collection of Colorful Crocs (Minimum of 3 pairs)
• Europe
• 1st - Xbox Series X, a custom one-of-a-kind pack of Jibbitz™ shoe charms to be designed with the Crocs team and a collection of colorful Crocs! (Minimum 5 pairs)
• 2nd-6th - Collection of Colorful Crocs (Minimum of 3 pairs)
• Japan
• 1st - PlayStation 5, a custom one-of-a-kind pack of Jibbitz™ shoe charms to be designed with the Crocs team and a collection of colorful Crocs! (Minimum 5 pairs)

NAME RESTRICTIONS

• User Names may not contain: vulgarities or obscenities; or derivatives of any commercially available products or services that may create confusion.
• Gen.G officials have the ability to deny a User Name if it does not meet the standards of Gen.G. A player will be notified by Gen.G officials if their name does not meet the standard and will be allowed to change their name.

COMPETITION AND PLAYER CONDUCT

• No Build Your Life In Color player may acquire any sponsors in conjunction with their play in the Build Your Life In Color contest.
• Prizing will be awarded predominantly based on the skill of the contestants and their Minecraft build.
• Players who are late or absent during portions of the contest will have no recourse for potential loss of scoring and participation opportunities.
• Players are expected to play at their best at all times while participating in Build Your Life In Color, and to avoid any behavior inconsistent with the principles of good sportsmanship, honesty or fair play.
• Playing under another player’s account or soliciting, inducing, encouraging or directing someone else to play under another player’s account is prohibited.
• A Player may not use language that is obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise offensive or objectionable; or promote or incite hatred or discriminatory conduct, in or near the match area, at any time. A Player may not use any facilities, services, or equipment provided or made available by Build Your Life In Color or its contractors to post, transmit, disseminate or otherwise make available any such prohibited communications. A Player may not use this type of language on social media or during any public facing contest such as streaming.
• A player may not build anything deemed obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise offensive or objectionable; or promote or incite hatred or discriminatory conduction.
• Prearranging to split prize earnings or deliberately losing a game for compensation, or any other reason, will be subject to penalties at the discretion of Gen.G.
• Hacking, defined as any modification of the game client by any player or person acting on behalf of a player, will be subject to penalties at the discretion of Gen.G.
• The use of any kind of cheating device and/or cheat program will be subject to penalties at the discretion of Gen.G.
• Upon discovery of any Player committing any violations of the rules listed above, Gen.G may, without limitation of its authority, issue the following penalties:
• Written Warning
• Prize Forfeiture
• Suspension
• Disqualification

FINALITY OF DECISIONS

• All decisions regarding the interpretation of these rules, player eligibility, scheduling and staging of the Build Your Life In Color contest, and penalties for misconduct, lie solely with Gen.G, the decisions of which are final.
• Gen.G decisions with respect to these Rules cannot be appealed and shall not give rise to any claim for monetary damages or any other legal or equitable remedy.
• These Rules may be amended, modified or supplemented by Gen.G, from time to time, in order to ensure fair play and the integrity of the Build Your Life In Color contest.

RELEASE 

By participating in the Build Your Life In Color, winner agrees to release Gen.G, Crocs, Inc, participating vendors (if any), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies and advertising, promotion and public relations agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with their participation in this Promotion or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any Prize.  The Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of Build Your Life In Color, or in the announcement of the prize.  An entrant may be prohibited from participating in Build Your Life In Color if, in Gen.G’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of Build Your Life In Color by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other entrants, Released Parties, or associated agencies or entities.

WAIVER

Entrants hereby waive all rights to: (i) claim punitive, exemplary, special, incidental, indirect and consequential damages and any other damages (whether due to negligence or otherwise), other than for actual out-of-pocket costs; and (ii) have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

If, for any reason, Build Your Life In Color is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, act of God, or any other causes which corrupt or otherwise affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of Build Your Life In Color, Gen.G reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Build Your Life In Color or any portion thereof at any time, and for any reason without further obligation or advance notice.  Gen.G reserves the right, but does not have any obligation, to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Gen.G further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the operation of Build Your Life In Color or acts in violation of these Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. 

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Prize is not transferable. Taxes on Prize are sole responsibility of winner.  No Prize substitutions or cash redemptions allowed, except by Gen.G, who may substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if advertised Prize becomes unavailable.  Gen.G shall not be held responsible for any delays in awarding the Prize or any component thereof for any reason.  Entry into Build Your Life In Color constitutes entrant’s agreement to be bound by the terms of these Rules and by the decisions of Gen.G, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to Build Your Life In Color.  Potential Prize winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release and a Confidentiality Agreement within fourteen (14) days following the first attempted notification.  Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.  If no response to the prize notification message is received within the time period stated or if the potential winner is found ineligible or does not comply with these Rules, the Prize may, in Gen.G’s sole and absolute discretion, be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from among remaining eligible participants.  If Gen.G is unable to confirm a winner after two (2) good faith attempts, the Prize may not be awarded.  If the confirmed winner forfeits the Prize for any reason after confirmation, no alternate winner will be selected.   In no event will more than one (1) Prize(s) be awarded. If, for any reason, more than one (1) prize notification is sent (or more than one (1) claim is received), Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize through a random drawing from among all eligible prize claims received.  Failure by the Gen.G to enforce any provision of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
